The Latest in QicWorks Innovation
Not even the Coronavirus (COVID-19) could stop the QicWorks Team in April.
Even though we were working remotely, QicWorks and our client’s needs were still our priority. So, you if you are a building, construction, manufacturing or labour hire professional or advisors, here is QicWorks latest updates, plus a sneak peek at what is coming soon.
· Department creation
· Customise Invoice, Job, Purchase Order numbering
· Timesheet, Timekeeping and Shift Report Upgrade
· Drop box Integration
· Mobile App Improvements
You now have the option to assign a Department to your Tasks, to help track costs across areas within your business. Departments are a great way to further filter your data. Department examples include cost code, branch, project site or department within your organisation. By assigning your Task with a Department you will now be able to dive deeper into your cost reporting.
Customised Invoice, Expense, Purchase Order and Job Numbers
We love hearing our customers feedback and one such improvement suggested by some of our users is the opportunity to be able to generate your own invoice, expense, purchase orders and job numbers. This is a great idea and the team jumped at the opportunity to develop it.
QicWorks now offers you to flexibility to create your own individual numbers, for these documents at the time of creation. The only stipulation is that the number you create must be unique.
Timesheet, Time Clock and Shift Report Upgrade
QicWorks now offers its users three (3) very different ways to collect time against their jobs.
Our companion app was initially designed to keep time via the Kiosk Mode or Shift Report creation, but now you can also create Timesheets on the go for individual or team times. This Timesheet function has also been replicated with the management hub. Now there is a timekeeping method for everyone. For more information on just how easy it is to collect time date, check out our blog Super Easy Timekeeping with QicWorks
Dropbox Integration and Email Configuration
QicWorks now links directly to your Dropbox account.
When your account is set up, you will be issued with a designated QicWorks email address. Simply cc in this address on your correspondence, include the Job, Invoice, Purchase or Expense number in the subject line and QicWorks will automatically file a copy of that email into the relevant integrated Dropbox folder.
